From Activa to Royal Enfield – My True Travel Journey from Delhi to Kerala

🛵 From Activa to Royal Enfield – My Journey from Delhi to Kerala

By Rider Punkaj | Safar Sanskriti

The First Step – Solo Activa Ride to Haridwar

Every journey begins with one brave step — mine started early one morning from Delhi to Haridwar on my Activa scooter.

It was a solo adventure of around 450 km in a single day. Riding through the misty highways before sunrise, reaching the holy Ganga ghat for a peaceful Ganga Snan, and returning to Delhi the same evening — it was pure freedom on two small wheels.
That one ride taught me that adventure is not about the machine, but about the heart behind it.

Rishikesh Ride – 17 Royal Enfields, One Brotherhood

The next chapter was louder and stronger — a Royal Enfield-organized group ride to Rishikesh with 17 riders.

The thump of engines, mountain air, and brotherhood of bikers made it unforgettable. Riding through scenic roads surrounded by forest and hills, we celebrated both the road and the bond we shared.

Mcleodganj – Six Friends, One Ride, One Hostel

Soon after, we planned another road trip — this time to Mcleodganj, Himachal. Six friends, open highways, laughter, and a cozy backpacker hostel high in the hills. Late-night chai, endless talks, and views that calm the soul made this ride special in its own way.

Binsar – Family Escape to the Hills

After the roaring rides came peace — a family trip to Binsar, Uttarakhand. We travelled by car, exploring Golu Devta Temple

and staying at Club Mahindra Binsar surrounded by clouds and silence.

The stillness of the forest and the joy of togetherness made it a memorable family escape.

Kerala – Seven Days of Nature’s Magic

The last big chapter took us to Kerala, this time by air from Delhi to Kochi. From Kochi, we hired a car and spent seven days exploring God’s Own Country —

from backwaters and beaches to hill stations and spice gardens.
Every sunrise in Kerala had a story, every sunset a peaceful goodbye. We returned by flight from Kochi to Delhi, carrying back colors, culture, and calmness.

Lessons from the Road

From a solo scooter ride to Royal Enfield brotherhood and peaceful family trips, every journey added a new lesson — courage, friendship, patience, and gratitude.
No matter the vehicle — Activa, Meteor, or a plane — what truly moves us is the spirit of travel.

Final Thoughts

Each road, each turn, and each stop became a part of Safar Sanskriti — a journey of experiences.
From the holy waters of Haridwar to the calm backwaters of Kerala, life’s best stories often begin with the courage to ride out alone.
